Upstage Theatre

Training the *stars* of tomorrow

Who are we?

'Step In Time School of Dance' was created by Pauline Bryan over 40 years ago.  The school stemmed from the prestigious 'Joyce Pearman Dance Studios' and went onto run a Monday Night Dance School at Pype Hayes Church.  The School expanded and started an after school dance club at Bromford Infant School which later became 'Hodge Hill Primary School'.  Twenty years on from here the school has gone from strength to strength and has joined up with 'Upstage Theatre' to offer both Theatre and Ballroom branches of Dance Training.  'Upstage Theatre' began 5 years ago by starting a Musical Theatre Class in Hodge Hill.  It then ran a series of successful workshops at 'Heathlands Primary School' and then opened its doors on the Bromford offering a Musical Theatre Class, and as they say - the rest is History!!! 'Upstage Theatre' is now partners with 'Step In Time School of Dance.'
